Sambodhi Central Library at Siddharth University, Kapilvastu was founded in 2015 at the Faculty of Arts Building. Soon the Central library will be shifted to the new fully airconditioned building next to the administrative building. The new Sambodhi Central Library currently is of 2 floors with total surface area of 2222.91 Square meter. It is equipped with central air conditioning, 500 MBPS internet connectivity, and a dedicated data server for the library. Sambodhi Central library have digital library section with 25 computers along with Reading room, discussion rooms, lockers for students and scholars, 2 seminar halls and Auditorium. The Sambodhi Central Library at Siddharth University operates efficiently with an Integrated Library Management system (ILMS) enduring streamlined access to its extensive collection and facilitating digital resources. The library currently boasts a substantial collection of books, rare books, manuscripts, periodicals, journals, Multimedia materials and various other e-resources. In addition to printed materials for academics, the library also offers access to a variety of media resources like Newspapers (Hindustan tines, Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, Hindustan etc.), and magazines (India Today, Yojna, Kurukshetra, Pratiyogita Darpan, Chronicles etc.) catering to both Hindi and English readership. The Sambodhi Central Library at Siddharth University, Kapilvastu, Siddharth Nagar (UP) not only house extensive collections but also leverage advanced technologies and collaboration to support research, learning, and scholarly endeavor. The Library stands as vital hubs of knowledge dissemination, fostering academic excellence and intellectual growth within the University community and beyond.
